In late June Michael Franti hosted a live chat on his website to discuss the next studio release from Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Sound of Sunshine, his upcoming tour dates and more. Next week, on Thursday August 12, he will do so once again. Another topic of conversation may well be his Power to the Peaceful Festival, where Franti will perform a Spearhead show, a kids set and an evening performance with guest players as The Rocking Heads, interpreting the music of the Talking Heads. The Sound of Sunshine is now set for a September 21 release, Power to the Peaceful will kick off on Septeber 10 and the chat is set for August 12 at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST via both http://michaelfranti.com/live and http://www.livestream.com/michaelfranti.
