Fans who have seen Pretty Lights in the past week may have noticed that Lettuce/Break Science’s Adam Deitch has signed on as the project’s new drummer. Derek Vincent Smith formed Pretty Lights as a solo project and recruited Cory Eberhard a few years ago for live performances. As of late July, Pretty Lights has named Deitch as his new drummer. A note on Pretty Lights’ page reads, “Adam is undoubtedly one of the illest drummers out there right now and when his style combines with the PL style, it approaches sweet style overload.” Deitch will perform with Pretty Lights at San Francisco’s Outside Lands this weekend.
