Yesterday, in our story on Phish’s Summer Tour closer at Wantagh, NY’s Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, we noted that midway through set break, a 25-year-old fan jumped from the venue’s upper balcony into a lower section of the venue. Today’s New York Post reports that he is on the mend from the 25 foot fall, quoting a friend who said, “It’s really a miracle, man. He’s just got some broken bones, but he’s going to be fine. He’s talking; he’s sedated, he’s sort of out of it. But surprisingly, he was able to talk.” Meanwhile, the Gothamist asserts that the fan’s MySpace logo is “Wear a Helmet.”
