The annual Camp Barefoot music festival took place in Bartow, WV from August 19-21. The three-day event featured a number of notable acts, including Conspirator, RAQ, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, EOTO, Particle, Toubab Krewe, Big Gigantic,
Spam Allstars, Hackensaw Boys, The Breakfast, Kung Fu and DJ Williams Projekt.

A number of artists shared the stage throughout the event. On Thursday night, Kung Fu/Breakfast guitarist Tim Palmieri joined RAQ for “In the Hole,” while RAQ/Kung Fu keyboardist Todd Stoops sat in with The Breakfast late night on “Buquebus.” The members of Kung Fu continued to collaborate Friday: Kung Fu tenor saxophonist Kris Jensen and The Breakfasts keyboardist Jordan Giangrecco both joined Kyle Hollingsworth Band for a take on Billy Preston’s “Will It Go Round in Circles” on Friday, Palmieri played guitar with Particle throughout its entire set and Kung Fu brought out RAQ drummer Greg Stukey and guitarist Chris Michetti for a cover of Billy Cobham’ “Stratus.” In addition, both Michetti and Stoops took the stage with Particle during its set.

The sit ins continued throughout Saturday with Breakfast/Kung Fu drummer Adrian Tramontano joining RAQ on “Trans-Continental” and “Beuoregard” and Stoops sitting in with Conspirator on a syth jam. In addition to Conspirator mainstays Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner, this version of the group featured Disco Biscuits drummer Allen Aucoin and Michetti, who toured as an auxiliary member of the Biscuits earlier in the year.

During The Breakfasts’ second set of the weekend, Michetti also jumped in on a “Hard Luck Harry” that led into a “Rain” jam right as the skies opened up for the weekends only downpour.
