The Barr Brothers to Tour
The Slip’s Brad and Andrew Barr have confirmed a short Northeast tour as The Barr Brothers. The Barrs recently completed a self-produced, self-titled album of “hushed Americana and future-primitive delta blues lined with classical motifs and West African poly rhythms.” Like the album, the Barrs will be joined on tour by fellow Montreal residents Sarah Page (Lhasa de Sela, Amon Tobin) and Miles Perkin (Lhasa de Sela, Jorane). The Barr Brothers’ new release will be available at the groups’ upcoming shows.
