Earlier this year Hot Buttered Rum’s Aaron Redner previewed some of the music from his new album, City by the Bay. The disc presents 10 of Redner’s original tunes performed by musicians in such Bay Area-based groups as: ALO, Tea Leaf Green, New Monsoon, The Waybacks, Vinyl, and of course Hot Buttered Rum. On Thursday September 16, Redner will celebrate the release of City by the Bay with a performance at San Francisco’s Connecticut Yankee. Redner will be joined by his HBR bandmates Nat Keefe, Erik Yates and Bryan Horne as well as ALO’s Dave Brogan, Chris Haugen (Jambay) and Kate Gaffney. Redner also notes, “Don’t be surprised if some other guests make their way to the stage for this one-time event!”
