Dave Matthews Band headlined its annual multi-night run at George, WA’s Gorge Amphitheatre this past weekend. This year’s openers included Ben Harper and Relentless7 and Alberta Cross. As expected, Harper sat in with the evening’s headliner on Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower” Saturday night. Touring Dave Matthews Band members Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross also joined Alberta Cross for “Rise from the Shadows.”

Dave Matthews Band has regularly busted out some rarer live songs as it prepares for its 2011 hiatus and this weekend was no exception. Friday night the band played “Sleep to Dream Her” for the first time since 2007, Saturday night the group played “Fool to Think” for the first since 2007 and Sunday night the band played “I Did It” for the first time since 2004. According to the fansite DMB Almanac, “This is the first three-night run with no repeats since the band opened for the Grateful Dead in 1995. It is also the first ever three-night run of full-length shows with no repeats.”

Dave Matthews Band will perform in New Orleans on September 9 as part of NFL Opening Kickoff 2010.
