More Sit Ins From Mule and Krasno

Shemekia Copeland

Gov’t Mule performed at Taos Ski Valley, NM’s Taos Mountain Music Festival on Sunday. During the group’s set, the members of Gov’t Mule invited out fellow festival performer Shemekia Copeland and her keyboardist Jeremy Baum for “That’s What Love Will Make You Do.” In addition to his work with Copeland, Baum regularly collaborates with members of The Band.

After sitting in with Gov’t Mule at Red Rocks Saturday night, Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno also collaborated with a few other artists. Krasno made his way down to Denver’s Cervantes to perform at the Electric Avenue Festival. The guitarist sat in with King Pigeon (Particle’s Steve Molitz, String Cheese Incident’s Michael Kang and Tiny Universe’s Ron Johnson) during the festival’s late night festivities. Karl Denson also joined the ensemble.
