Multi-instrumentalist Joe Pisapia played his final show with Guster yesterday at Boston’s Life is Good Festival. As previously reported, Pisapia is taking an indefinite hiatus from the band to tour, record and write with k.d. Lang. Guster bridged two eras of its career by inviting out Pisapia’s replacement Luke Reynolds for a few songs during its Life is Good performance. The Blue Merle alum joined his future band for “Do You Love Me” and “This Could All Be Yours” from Guster’s forthcoming album Easy Wonderful, as well as “Ramona” from 2003’s Keep it Together. Reynolds also joined Guster for a second performance at the festival in a Chase-sponsored performance lounge. Guster will kick off a national tour at West Hollywood, CA’s Troubadour on September 28.
