On Saturday The Black Crowes were among the artists inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Chuck Leavell spoke on the band’s behalf at the awards show, which took place in Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. After the induction the Crowes delivered a version of “Remedy” before Leavell sat in on both “She Talks To Angels” as well as the band’s first-ever take on the state’s official song, “Georgia On My Mind.”

Tonight the group will appear in North Myrtle Beach, SC at the House Of Blues.

Kudo’s to the Crowes! They are the best in my book. I will truly miss them while they take a break.

so glad to see true rock n’ roller’s gettin’ their due. The jury deliberated and you have been liberated into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame..well done, well done.
If you don’t have Croweology buy it is truly a body of work and an awesome ride from start to finish. Also love Before the Frost. Have already been to one show this tour and have five more cities to go worth every mile…and the trip…
