Bloodkin’s verson of “Who Do You Belong To?”

Widespread Panic kicked off its fall tour over the weekend with shows in Morgantown, WV and Charlottesville, VA. An acoustic version of Bloodkin opened both shows, the band’s two principals performed with Panic on each of the nights. Daniel Hutchens and Eric Carter sat in on four of their songs that have become Panic staples over the years. On Friday, Hutchens appeared on vocals while Carter guested on guitar and vocals at the end of set two during “Henry Parsons Died” and “Makes Sense To Me.” Then on Saturday, the pair came out for the two song encore which again consisted of Bloodkin originals: “Who Do You Belong To?” and “End Of The Show.” In addition, during the second set, Bloodkin’s Eric Martinez joined in on “Fishwater.”

Tonight Widespread Panic will be in Baltimore at Pier Six (Bloodkin will not be opening).
