Furthur made its way to the Joint last night as the band continues its Fall tour. Opening with “Feel Like A Stranger, “ the first set reflected the Las Vegas setting as it included a version of “Deal,” while other strong offerings included “After Midnight,” “Black-Throated Wind” and “Loose Lucy.” Still it was the second half of the night where the band really shined. The group offered a fully-segued set that began with “Jack Straw “ and then moved into “ Bertha,” “ Shakedown Street,” “Wharf Rat,” and “Time” before the ever-welcome combo of “Dark Star” and “St. Stephen.” From there the set concluded in familiar late-90’s fashion with a move from “The Wheel” into “Standing on the Moon” and then “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad.” The group encored with a version of “Midnight Hour.”

Furthur is off tonight before beginning a three night Red Rocks run on Friday.
