Art Neville will perform with The New Mastersounds at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s on Halloween. The Meters founder reached out to the English funk band after seeing a video of The New Mastersounds’ Funkify Your Life: A Look Into The Music of The Meters workshop at High Sierra this past year.

The New Mastersounds’ New Orleans date is part of a tour in support of the new retrospective album Masterology. According to the band, the album’s “track listing was created ‘based on gems from all seven albums previously released including one never been heard unreleased track.’”
