Santana Ties Rolling Stones For Billboard Record

Santana’s new album, Guitar Heaven, debuted at #5 in the Billboard’s Top 200 last week. According to his homepage, the guitarist has now tied the Rolling Stones as the only musical act in chart history to score at least one Top 10 Album from the ‘60s through the ‘10s. Guitar Heaven is Santana’s 29th Billboard Top 200 charting release.

I guess it depends on how you slice it. Eric Clapton has had top tens in ever decade since 70s-10s under his name plus the Blind Faith and Cream albums in the 60’s. But if you don’t count that, then I guess this would be right
