Widespread Panic frontman John Bell discussed his band’s potential hiatus on the radio earlier this week. Bell was on air in advance of Widespread Panic’s multi-night run at Nashville, TN’s The Ryman. When asked about the break by a radio personality at Lighting 100, Bell mentioned that it was an idea the group had recently tossed around. He also indicated that keyboardist JoJo Hermann was not supposed to discuss the band’s potential hiatus in the press. The keyboardist first revealed that the band planed to take a break in 2012 in a recent interview with Vanderbilt’s student newspaper.
