The third annual Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival will take place from December 3-5. Described as “A Summer Festival Brought Indoors for the Chicago Winter,” the event will take place at a different venue in the city each night: Double Door (12/3), Congress Theater (12/4) and Lincoln Hall (12/5). Confirmed acts include: Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, David Honeyboy Edwards, Corey Chisel & the Wandering Sons, The Skatalites, Giving Tree Band and Van Ghost. Other acts set to appear include: Sexfist, Paleface, Daphne Willis, The Right Now, The Shams Band, How Far to Austin, Great Divide, Chicago Farmer and Jaik Willis, among others. An additional acts will be chosen as part of the Last Banjo Standing contest.
