The Live Phish mobile app used to stream and download Phish concerts was honored on Tuesday in San Francisco during the Billboard Mobile Entertainment Live! conference. The competition for the Best Touring App Award also included Bonnaroo’s festival app by Aloompa and the R5 music venue app from Ticketfly. Brad Serling, CEO of Nugs.net which created the app was on hand and explained how 10,000 fans downloaded the app during its first week, establishing Live Phish as the number one paid music app on iTunes that week.
