Donald.I hope you had a wonderful day. We don’t lbteerace Thanksgiving here in Australia, and we have no equivalent, more’s the pity. This is a wonderful song, even knowing the background. It seems we have similar tastes in music, as I always like your clips. It actually prompted me to find a music clip to use as an inspiration at our home blog.Pity it dropped off the bottom of RCP with only yours and my votes. Thanks for posting the clip.Tony.

Unlike you, I’m not college eteacdud. I never even gave a thought to the causes and consequences of war until 9/11. Needless to say I had a lot of catching up to do to get up to speed on world and American history. But thanks to the internet and a lot of free time, I now know more than I ever wanted to about imperialism, colonialism, and human folly.I’d be interested to hear your eteacdud views on wars past and present. Surely you don’t think the U.S. is any different than other domineering tribes throughout history. From your learned perspective, has war ever brought anything but misery to the people and wealth to the rulers?
