Nicholas Payton, Donald Harrison and Christian McBride to Join Mike Clark’s Indigo Blue
Headhunter drummer Mike Clark will re-imagine his 2009 album Blueprints of Jazz during a series of concerts. The shows will take place at New York’s Iridium Jazz Club from October 28-31. Mike Clark’s Indigo Blue will feature many of the performers who originally appeared on the album: Nicholas Payton (trumpet,) Donald Harrison (alto sax,) Christian McBride (bass,) Rob Dixon (tenor sax) and Antonio Farao (piano). The band will play two shows each evening.
