Little Feat Duo To Tour in Support of Homeless Military Vets

On Wednesday in Virginia, Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett will kick off an eight day acoustic tour. The pair will make appearances in the vicinity of three Big 10 conference football teams (Penn State, Iowa and Wisconsin). In the past Little Feat has performed in Pittsburgh as part of the BurghSTOCK concert series, in which musicians work to alleviate homelessness. Since Iowa Football Coach Kirk Ferentz is a Pittsburgh native and a supporter of BurghSTOCK, Fred and Paul have announced that those three shows will be BurghSTOCK gigs with raffle items that will benefit local non-profits that help homeless vets (as Veterans Day is on November 11). The tour kicks on Wednesday November 3rd in Vienna, VA.
