The Travelin’ McCourys and The Lee Boys: Meetin’ in the Middle

Over the past years the Travelin’ McCourys and The Lee Boys have shared the stage in a variety of settings. A new six-song EP captures the collaboration of traditional bluegrass and sacred steel. Meetin’ in the Middle presents songs that bridge both of these realms, such as “Walking In Jerusalem Just Like John,” the gospel traditional first arranged by Bill Monroe any years ago, as well as two Alvin Lee compositions (“Let’s Celebrate” and “Celebrate My Life”) and Del McCoury’s “I Believe.” In an effort to spread the music, Meetin’ in the Middle is now available for $2.50, with a free track also offered at the Travelin’ McCourys website.
