Girl Talk, aka Greg Gilles, hasn’t released an album since 2008’s Feed The Animals. Instead, Gilles has maintained a heavy touring schedule that has amounted to nearly 300 shows under the young electro-star’s belt. This trend seems to have continued with the announcement of 40+ US dates that includes shows through March of 2011. Gilles will visit nearly every major US city, including stops at the House of Blues in New Orleans and Boston, the Tabernacle in Atlanta, New York’s Terminal 5 and the coveted Fox Theater in Oakland. While Gilles says his currently focus is on making his shows into “more of a basement feel despite the size of audience,” talk of an imminent album release still lingers.
