Jam-pop band Dispatch surprised the masses by reportedly drawing over 100,000 fans to its final, free shows in 2004. The band surprised skeptics a second time in 2007 by selling out three reunion shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden in a matter of hours. The group reunited for a charity event at Washington, DC’s Kennedy Center in 2009 at the request of the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe.

The band will make another announcement in 46 days. The group’s official homepage was recently replaced with a clock counting down to a big, official announcement and the header Dispatch 2011. The only other information available appears to be via a new Twitter feed.
