The Decemberists Confirm 2011 Dates

Gillian Welch will join The Decemberists on Conan this Thursday, November 18. The singer appears on several tracks from The Decemberists’ new album, The King Is Dead. The musicians are expected to perform the album’s first single “Down by the Water.” The album, which explores more simplistic songs, also features R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck.
