The Dave Matthews Band is in the closing days of an East Coast tour that will wrap up this weekend in Charlottesville. However, yesterday Matthews was back across the country in his current home state of Washington for a solo performance. Washington is also home to Microsoft and Matthews performed eight songs to mark the opening of the new Microsoft Store in Bellevue, WA. Matthews kicked things off with “Crush,” and then offered versions of “So Damn Lucky,” “Satellite,” “Stay or Leave,” “Rye Whiskey,” “Save Me,” “You & Me” and “Don’t Drink the Water” at the free performance. Tonight it’s back east with Dave Matthews Band for the first of two nights at the John Paul Jones Arena.
