January 11 is the digital release date for Sherman Ewing’s studio album, Single Room Saloon. Godfrey Diamond (Lou Reed, Aerosmith) produced the disc which will be available in record stores later next spring. On the release Ewing is joined by regular collaborator Jojo Hermann as well as numerous other notable musicians. Phish lyricist Tom Marshall appears, along with Bob Dylan band mates George Recile and Tony Garnier, Ivan Neville, Michael Ray, Zak Soulam and Jimbo Walsh. Ewing’s core band also is on the album: guitarist Anthony Krizan, keyboardist Rob Clores, and brothers John and Kevin Hummel (drums and bass).
