Citizen Cope sat in with Matisyahu last night at Brooklyn, NY’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. The singer/guitarist emerged partway through the set to perform his own “Lifeline” and “Bullet And A Target” while Matisyahu beat boxed. The show was the second night of Matisyahu’s Festival of Light Chanukah celebration (the festivities kicked off a night earlier at Brooklyn Bowl). Matis also brought out his old high school pal Stan Ipcus to rap on “Spark Seekers” and “WP” as well as Adam Weinberg for “Hine Ma Tov Uma Naim.” In addition, he made use of the disco ball dreidel that’s became the Festival of Light’s hallmark.

Like all of Matisyahu’s recent shows, the Dub Trio backed the singer throughout the night. The Festival of Light continues tonight at Clifton Park, NY’s Northern Lights.
