Girl Talk Day

Yesterday, City Councilman William Peduto officially declared December 7 ‘Gregg Gillis Day’ in the City of Pittsburgh. The musician, who is best known as Girl Talk, was honored for his work and support of his hometown, Pittsburgh, PA. An official ceremony for the reading of the proclamation was held yesterday morning at the City Council Building. It was open to the public and aired live on City Channel Pittsburgh (Comcast channel 13 and Verizon channel 44).

Girl Talk also opened Pittsburgh’s brand new amphitheater Stage AE this past weekend.

Since when does distastefully cramming songs into one bastard child of a song get you a city wide day named after you? This is getting too easy…

uh…dude travels all over the world throwing massive dance parties. He’s doing something right. You should continue to be bitter because he’s making millions off of this and you’re not. Quit bitching and get into it. And the Pittsburgh remark? john, you’re pathetic. Go back to Cleveland or Cincinnati or whatever shithole city with absolutely NOTHING going for it that you crawled out of.
