Members of Furthur, Dr. Dog and Ween Join the American Babies Alumni Show

Last Friday, we reported that Tom Hamilton and the American Babies’ All Star Alumni Special Holiday Show will take place at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl on December 27. Hamilton has now also revealed some of the guest performers scheduled to join current Babies Scott Metzger (guitar), Nick Bockrat (bass), Adam Flicker (keyboards) and Dave Butler (drums). Both Joe Russo (Furthur/The Duo) and Eric Slick (Dr. Dog) will play drums at various points throughout the night while Dave Dreiwitz (Ween) will sub in on bass. American Babies co-founder Jim Hamilton will also play bass at various points throughout the night. Jim Hamilton recently returned home after a year tour of duty in Afghanistan with the U.S. Military.

The group will perform music from throughout its entire career. In addition, Hamilton plans to offer a complete version of the second side of The Beatles’ Abbey Road.
