Robbie Robertson’s last studio album was 1998’s Contact from the Underworld of Red Boy. On April 5, the co-founder of The Band will finally release his follow-up. Robertson co-produced How To Become Clairvoyant with Marius de Vries, which offers twelve tracks and some notable guest players. Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Robert Randolph, Trent Reznor and Tom Morello all appear on the album, which also features bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Ian Thomas. Robertson co-produced with Marius de Vries. One song from the forthcoming release, a track entitled “When The Night Was Young” can now be heard at the 429 Records website.
