Moonalice will open for U2 this summer. The jamband is slated to support U2 at Oakland, CA’s Oakland Coliseum on June 7. In a parallel world, Moonalice frontman Roger McNamee runs the media-investment company Elevation Partners with U2’s Bono. In addition to McNamee, Moonalice includes Barry Sless, Pete Sears, Anne McNamee and John Molo. Jack Casady also occasionally plays bass with the group.
