Starting on Tuesday in Fayetteville, AR, Great American Taxi will begin an extensive winter tour. The first seven shows will see the group team with Railroad Earth, which is quite fitting since Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone produced Great American Taxi’s latest album, Reckless Habits. Taxi will then continue the rounds, eventually joining the Emmitt-Nershi Band for a gig in Montana, and Todd Snider for two in Nevada. The group appears with Snider on his new release, The Storyteller Live, which includes a DVD of the group backing Snider at a Nashville gig last year.
