The inaugural Snow Ball Music Festival will take place in the mountains of Vail Valley, Colorado on March 4-6. The Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Lotus, Big Gigantic and Portugal. The Man are all among the acts set to participate. In addition to music, the festival boasts, “skiers/snowboarders will find the ultimate escape in the 5,289 acres of freeride terrain at their disposal – including three terrain parks and seven bowls.” Packages are now on sale that offer combined lift and music tickets or simply music passes, with the full details at the Snow Ball Music Festival site.
