On April 8 and 9, Wynton Marsalis the Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, will draw in a fellow high-profile musician for an intriguing event. These evenings are entitled “Wynton Marsalis & Eric Clapton Play the Blues” and will take place at the Rose Theater with music set to begin at 8PM. The bill also indicates that Taj Majal will make a special appearance (perhaps opening and then joining Marsalis and Clapton). A presale for MasterCard holders will begin on January 28, with general on sale details yet to be announced.
