Former Fat Mama percussionist Kevin Kendrick is working on the sophomore album from his band A Big Yes and a small no. The album features contributions from a number of musicians, including Kendrick’s Fat Mama band mates Joe Russo (drums), Jonathan Goldberger (guitar) and Erik Deutsch (keyboards) as well as Marco Benevento (keyboards) and Jonti Siman (bass). Goldberger has also signed on as the album’s producer while recent Phish collaborator Fred Kevorkian will master the disc.

Kendrick is currently raising money to complete the project via Kickstarter. Fans who back the project can receive such varied prizes as a hand made hospital bracelet stamped with “A Big Yes and a small no,” a ride on any one of the amazing antique carousels in New York City with frontman Kevin Kendrick and a drum lesson with Sir. Joe Russo himself.
