The 10th annual Tribeca Film Festival will kick off with the world premiere of Cameron Crowe’s documentary The Union. The festival will screen the film—which follows the recording of Elton John and Leon Russell’s new album of the same name—for free at the North Cove section of the World Financial Plaza on April 10. After the screening, Elton John will also perform. The Union features candid interviews with John, Russell and producer T-Bone Burnett, and musical contributions from John’s lyricist Bernie Taupin, Neil Young, Brian Wilson, Booker T. Jones and Robert Randolph.
