Paul Simon has confirmed a spring tour in support of his first album in five years, So Beautiful or So What. His band for the tour will include Cameroonian guitarist Vincent Nguini, drummer Jim Oblon, pianist Mick Rossi, saxophonist/keyboardist Andrew Snitzer, bassist Bakithi Kumalo, guitarist Mark Stewart, master percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras. The musicians are expected to draw from Simon’s catalogue, including “several songs that haven’t been performed live in many years.” Simon will also appear two consecutive nights on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, April 6 and 7.
