Starting on July 2 in Seattle, Steely Dan will cross the country on its latest tour as “Jazz-Rock Ambassadors to the Galaxy.” The Shuffle Diplomacy Twenty Eleven will see the band perform complete albums at some dates (as the group did on its 2009 tour). Steely Dan also will allow fans to vote online to select the group’s setlist (again, as it did in 2009). Donald Fagen and Walter Becker will travel with 11 additional players on the tour which will close out in Boston on September 28.

Acclaimed jazz organist Sam Yahel will open most of the dates with his group.
