Big Gigantic is currently on the road with Umphrey’s McGee. Last night the two bands closed a two-night run at San Francisco’s The Fillmore. Near the end of Umphrey’s McGee’s first set, Big Gigantic saxophonist Dominic Lalli sat in on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Can’t Ya Hear Me Knockin.’” The group also performed an instrumental cover of Steely Dan’s “Kid Charlemagne,” a song that was loosely inspired by Owen “Bear” Stanley, who died earlier in the day.

Umphrey’s McGee will perform at Crystal Bay, NV’s Crystal Bay Casino Club this Wednesday.
