Rachel Zoe is a Hollywood stylist turned media sensation, with the third season of The Rachel Zoe Project now underway on Bravo. However, as Hollywood Reporter Music Editor Shirley Halperin explains, she is also a longtime Deadhead. Halperin (co-author of Pot Culture: The A-Z Guide to Stoner Language and Life and Reefer Movie Madness; The Ultimate Stoner Film Guide ) writes that Zoe attended 30 Dead shows, while her husband, Rodger Berman, saw 91 and that their dog is named Casey Jones. When the pair was married in 1997 at New York City’s Rainbow Room, the couple’s first dance was to “Peggy-O.” Zoe tells Halperin, “We were all Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, gown and black tie with my parents’ friends all dripping in glamour and diamonds. And they were, like, ‘We don’t know this song. It was hilarious.”
