Umphrey’s in Nevada (Reno) last year

Wednesday night’s Umphrey’s McGee performance at the Crystal Bay Casino Club in Crystal Bay, Nevada has been cancelled due to hazardous weather conditions. As the band explains on its website, with some measure of humor, “Caltran and California State Police refused to let the bus up the pass without four-wheel drive. Our tour manager did his best Peter Grant (look it up) but no form of intimidation or bribery was successful. We are truly bummed as the Crystal Bay is a always such a great, intimate experience. Our apologies through and through.” It’s on to Hollywood for a show tonight at the House of Blues.
