Umphrey’s Pays Tribute to Nate Dogg

A look at one of Umphrey’s previous covers of “Regulate”

Big Gigantic opened for Umphrey’s McGee at West Hollywood, CA’s House of Blues last night. During Umphrey’s McGee’s second set, Big Gigantic saxophonist Dominic Lalli emerged for a version of “Ringo” that segued out of “Eminence Front.” Umphrey’s McGee also paid tribute to Nate Dogg by closing its show with “Regulate,” a song the late rapper recorded with Warren G. Umphrey’s McGee will perform in San Diego, CA tonight.

Actually the cops wouldn’t let them through the pass due to snow. Way to talk shit about a great band cancelling a show when they had no chance

these pussies cancelled a sold out show in tahoe cause of chain contol and weather…when they actually could have made it…SO WEAK..their music is incredible but two days to drive from SF to the lake..and you can’t come up with better bullshit than that!

Yeah dude I’m sure those dude’s were sitting on their posh ass bus and decided that they just didn’t want to play to a sold out crowd in an intimate venue. Good call.
