Sunday was an off night for the Allman Brothers Band in terms of the group’s Beacon Theater run but the band’s namesake kept himself busy. As on Wednesday, Gregg Allman made his way over to the show at Madison Square Garden. There he joined Elton John and Leon Russell for a version of “Gone To Shiloh.” This is the same they previously performed at MSG and also played back in October when all three musicians were part of T Bone Burnett’s Speaking Clock Revue.

Rumors continue to swirl that Sir Elton just may join the ABB this week at the Beacon.
