sublime shouldn’t be left dead… speaking for myself at least i dont see any possible reason why music should die in the first place. the music was put out for a reason, and that reason wasn’t so that it would just stop after it lost popularity or the singers die. i think its safe to say most musicians HOPE for their music to last and make an impact on listeners for long after their own time. thats called being a legend, not “raping the corpse”. maybe itd be considered “raping the corpse” if they were disrespecting the music, but theyre not, theyre glorifying it and keeping it alive. clearly some people are against that, which is fine, but at least let the people who have RESPECT for music and others enjoy themselves. basically if you have a problem with it, don’t go.

Went to the Bonner Springs show and it rocked, DJ Trichrome, and DJ Soulman opened for them. Sublime Absolutely rocked, and 311’s performance was amazing.

Are they? Then don’t go! Others, like myself, still enjoy them. My guess is, you loved them when the Blue Album came out then when everybody jumped on the wagon the next album you decided you are too cool for them. Whatever the reason, you are entitled to your opinion, as “f*cking weak sauce” as it is. Anyway, I’m more disappointed that when they visit FLA now they are attached to a festival. Not that I don’t enjoy Suwanee, but I want to see them one on one again someday.

GAYEST TOUR EVER! March 22, 2011, 15:46:19

Sublime died over a decade ago, and it should be left that way. What is with crumby bands w. Excellent lead singers thinking they can just keep touring? Its called raping the corpse people. The Doors of the 21st century? Queen? Fucking half of Queen is dead! GIVE IT UP. Also, dude, 311 sucks.
