The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Jamie McLean Band, Dead Confederate to Play Do Da Jam

The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Jamie McLean Band, Dead Confederate, Yonrico Scott Band and The Lee Boys are among the acts scheduled to appear the Do Da Jam festival this spring. The event will take place in Dahlonega, GA from April 20-24. Other acts scheduled to appear include: Sol Driven Train, The Suex Effect, Psychedelphia, The Fritz, Cindercat, American Anodyne, The Mantras, Miles From Earth, Tennessee Jed, The Johnson Party, Gooseberry Jam, Sugar Kayne, I.R.E., Packway Handle Band, The Dirty Lowdown, Left Williams Band and The Vegabonds.

The festival’s mission is to “seed a new venue resort community called Music Village Resorts with [the promoters’] first site targeted outside Athens on a secluded riverfront tract. MVR is a planned development providing a country club community based on live music, the arts, Eco-Presevation & education. MVR will be a full time venue offering shows ranging from touring artists and local/regional talent on a daily bases.”

Looks like a killer lineup! I caught the Johnson Party at Sweetwater Festival last year. Awesome. I wish they would play more festivals.

Agreed, Mesh. The Johnson Party is the dark horse for Band of the Festival Honors.

WOW, What a Great Festival line-up for under $100? Damn, this is going to be awesome and I have many friends that are going to play this festie and I damn sure am ready to play. Do Da, Thanks for making this affordable!

Great campground on the Etowah River, not a huge area so this should rage. I am so there and New Riders, Hell Yeah!
