Steve “The Dude of Life” Pollak sat in with Mike Gordon last night at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl. The Dude of Life—who co-wrote such Phish songs as “Fluffhead,” “Slave to the Traffic Light,” “Suzy Greenberg,” “Dinner and a Movie and “Sanity,” among others—sang on a cover of Clint Ballard, Jr.’s “You’re No Good.” The song is most often associated with singer Linda Ronstadt.

Pollak sat in with the members of Phish numerous times in the ‘80s and ‘90s but has not shared the stage with the band since 2003. He also recorded the album Crimes of the Mind with the group in the early ‘90s.
