John Bell’s image of Jimmy Herring

Widespread Panic is currently on a spring tour that will carry the group to Washington, DC this evening. The group’s frontman, John Bell, has been taking photos from the road, sharing his own unique perspective on stage and his images of Jimmy Herring and Sunny Ortiz are now posted on the band’s Facebook page. Meanwhile, Meredith Berke’s interview with drummer Todd Nance has just posted to Jambands.com. In it, he indicates that the three tours are in offing for this year, while, as reported, next year may well bring a hiatus. Nance also talks about the process of creating setlists and explains the backstory behind the group’s decision not to play The Moody Blues’ “Nights In White Satin” for well over two decades.
