Ex-Stones bassist Bill Wyman appears on a new studio track with The Rolling Stones. The song—a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Watching The River Flow”—is included on Boogie 4 Stu, pianist Ben Waters’ new tribute to late Stones keyboardist Ian Stewart. Though the cover is the only song on Boogie 4 Stu to feature Mick Jagger, Stones drummer Charlie Watts appears on most of the album while guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood each appear on three tracks. Alternative singer P.J. Harvey—who happens to be Waters’ cousin—also contributes to a version of Stephen Marley’s “Lonely Avenue.” Wyman—who left The Rolling Stones after thirty years in 1992—did not record his parts in the same room with the rest of his former band.

Boogie 4 Stu features ten covers and one original songs as well as contributions from several of Stewart’s longtime friends. The album also includes a live take on Sam Cooke’s “Bring it On Home to Me” that Stewart recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1984 with his band Rocket 88. The album was mixed by Stewart’s former roommate Glyn Johns.

Stewart co-founded The Rolling Stones but was cut from the group’s lineup early on because of his physical appearance. He remained part of the Stones family as the band’s touring keyboardist and road manager. He also contributed to several Stones studio sessions in from the mid ‘60s until his death in the ‘80s.

Boogie 4 Stu is scheduled for release on April 19.
