On Sunday afternoon Keller Williams, Larry Keel and Jenny Keel performed a special show on a farm just north of Richmond, Virginia. The occasion was the Keller On the Couch contest where anyone who ordered Keller & The Keels’ Thief via www.kellerwilliams.net was entered into a drawing to win a private acoustic performance by the trio for up to 49 friends. Rather than his living room, Nick Dellinger (dubbed “Ridiculous Nichulous” by the group) opted for an outdoor setting on his family farm. Along with multiple selections from Thief the group performed a number of requests such as “Freebird” and Williams’ own “Freeker by the Speaker.” Highlights included a run from the Grateful Dead’s “Loser” into Beck’s “Loser” and then back into The Dead’s “Loser” as well as a sequence that begin with Williams’ “Breathe” which led into Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” then Ryan Adams’ “Cold Roses” and back into ”Breathe.”

Next up for Williams is a solo show on Saturday at the Norman Music Festival in Norman, OK.
