Umphrey’s McGee has added some additional dates to its summer tour. In addition to previously confirmed festival appearances at Wakarusa, Mountain Jam, All Good and the Great South Bay Music Festival, the group will headline several shows on its own. Soul sensation Black Joe Lewis will open a number of these dates. The ensemble has also confirmed that a special guest will sit in during its Mountain Jam set (the guest will be announced tomorrow).

In other Umphrey’s McGee news, Lighting Director and former Relix editor Jeff Waful will debut his new web TV series, “Jeff Waful +1,” on Relix.com on May 3. The series’ first episode will feature an interview with Warren Haynes conducted in Relix/Jambands.com’s New York offices.
